Record, play, full-text search and Markdown export — all locally on your Android device. No cloud, no account, no tracking. No external speech-to-text processing.

What LarasMemo does

Local recording through your device microphone API. You decide when to record.
Playback and search across titles and transcripts, accent and spelling tolerant.
Markdown export prepared locally, only shared through the Android share sheet when you want.
Privacy log inside the app: every data-flow event is visible.

What LarasMemo deliberately does not have

No account. No sign-in, no mandatory email.
No cloud. Recordings live in local app storage (IndexedDB).
No tracking, no ads. No analytics, no advertising IDs.
No external transcription. Nothing is sent to Whisper APIs or cloud STT.

Current state

MVP for Internal Testing on Google Play. Native background recording via a foreground service and on-device Whisper are in preparation.
